MICROSOFT INVITES FRIENDS TO TRY PC GAME PASS FOR FREE
Microsoft has launched a new referral program for their Xbox Game Pass that gives members the opportunity to invite up to five friends to try out PC Game Pass for free with a 14-day trial. This offer is exclusively available for new Game Pass members who are new to the service. Members can access the referral invitations on the Game Pass homescreen.
NEW OFFER PART OF A FOCUS ON PC GAME PASS GROWTH
Microsoft has been focusing on the growth of PC Game Pass recently and, less than a month ago, expanded the service to 40 new countries. The company has been focusing on the PC service after slower growth on the console side last year. Microsoft Gaming CEO, Phil Spencer, stated in an interview last year, “On console, I’ve seen growth slow down, mainly because at some point you’ve reached everybody on console that wants to subscribe.”
PC GAME PASS INCLUDES ACCESS TO HUNDREDS OF GAMES
PC Game Pass members have access to all of Microsoft’s own Xbox PC games, hundreds of third-party PC games, Bethesda PC titles, and an EA Play membership, allowing them to try out new releases for up to 10 hours. If a friend accepts the referral offer, it will prohibit the use of other introductory offers available to new members, like the $1 trial.

As Microsoft continues to focus on the growth of PC Game Pass, members can expect to see more new games added to the service and additional benefits offered to subscribers.
