James Gunn’s upcoming film, *Superman: Legacy*, is shrouded in mystery, leaving us wondering what it will bring to the big screen that previous Superman films by Warner Bros. Discovery didn’t. However, we have recently learned the actors who will portray the iconic Man of Steel and his journalist partner.

According to a report by *Deadline*, David Corenswet from *The Politician* and *Pearl*, and Rachel Brosnahan from *The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel* and *The Blacklist* have been cast as Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane respectively. The extensive audition process concluded with several actors signing test deals, which were set to expire within business weeks to avoid potential strikes by SAG-AFTRA. While Brosnahan and Corenswet’s casting doesn’t reveal much about *Superman: Legacy*, it does give us a glimpse into the names that will become increasingly familiar as we approach the movie’s release date on July 11th, 2025.
