Epic Games recently announced that Metallica will be headlining the next in-game concert, marking a significant collaboration between the band and the gaming platform.
"Metallica: Fuel Fire Fury" Virtual Concert Details
Dubbed "Metallica: Fuel Fire Fury," the virtual concert is set to take place at various times later this month. Players will have the opportunity to experience the show on June 22nd at 2PM, 5PM, and 11PM ET, as well as on June 23rd at 10AM, 2PM, and 5PM ET. While specific details about the virtual concert have yet to be revealed, it follows a series of successful in-game performances by artists like Eminem, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, and Marshmello.
Metallica Takes Over Fortnite Festival
Expanding beyond its battle royale roots, Fortnite is set to immerse players in the Metallica experience across its platform. The band will headline the upcoming Fortnite Festival, replacing Billie Eilish, starting on June 13th. Additionally, players can expect a new track titled "Thrash Mountain" in the game mode Rocket Racing, featuring all four members of Metallica and even Lego versions of the band.
