GOOGLE’S STACK: A USEFUL TOOL FOR ORGANIZING YOUR PDFS
IF YOU’VE BEEN USING GOOGLE’S STACK TO CREATE AND TRACK YOUR PDFS, YOU MAY BE AWARE THAT ITS FUNCTIONALITY HAS NOW BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THE GOOGLE DRIVE APP. THIS MEANS THAT YOU’LL NEED TO MOVE YOUR DOCUMENTS OVER TO GOOGLE DRIVE, BUT FEAR NOT – GOOGLE HAS MADE THIS AN EASY TWO-STEP PROCESS.
WHEN YOU ACCESS YOUR GOOGLE DRIVE ACCOUNT, YOU’LL NOTICE A FOLDER LABELED "STACK EXPORT" WHERE ALL YOUR PDFS WILL BE HOUSED. HOWEVER, BE AWARE THAT IF YOU’VE SPENT TIME CATEGORIZING AND LABELING YOUR PDFS IN STACK, THIS EFFORT MAY BE IN VAIN, AS THE PDFS WILL SIMPLY BE MOVED WITHOUT ANY OF THE ADDITIONAL ORGANIZATION TRANSFERRING OVER.
IF YOU’D PREFER NOT TO KEEP YOUR DOCUMENTS IN GOOGLE DRIVE, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO EXPORT THEM FROM STACK TO A LOCATION OF YOUR CHOICE. ALTHOUGH THIS METHOD MAY BE MORE LABOR-INTENSIVE, IT IS CERTAINLY AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE TO TAKE.
ONCE YOU’VE SUCCESSFULLY TRANSFERRED YOUR PDFS OUT OF STACK, YOU CAN NAVIGATE TO THE APP’S SETTINGS AND DELETE PAGE TO RID YOURSELF OF THOSE NOW-UNORGANIZED DOCUMENTS.
AND LASTLY, TO GOOGLE FROM A SATISFIED STACK USER: THANK YOU FOR YOUR PAST SUPPORT.
