Zelda : Majora’s Mask est désormais un jeu PC natif, et chaque titre N64 pourrait suivre son exemple.

**REVOLUTIONIZING N64 GAMING**

It seems almost unbelievable: simply double-clicking an EXE file on your Windows laptop, pointing the app to a Majora’s Mask ROM file, and instantly enjoying a highly responsive gaming experience on a 165Hz variable refresh rate screen. This includes remappable controls, adjustable resolution, and even a basic form of auto-save.

**A GAME-CHANGING TOOL**

Now, envision being able to replicate this for any Nintendo 64 game! Wiseguy claims their tool operates by statically recompiling N64 binaries into C code, which can then be compiled into native apps for any platform. Surprisingly, even the notorious Superman 64 has been made functional.

**THE FUTURE OF N64 GAMING**

Furthermore, Wiseguy hints at upcoming developments such as N64 ray tracing and texture packs. Exciting teasers are showcased in a video.

**LEGALITY AND ETHICS**

To clarify, these recompiled N64 apps do not contain the actual game itself, which adds to their allure. While Nintendo’s legal team may argue that they could promote piracy, it’s essential to note that they do not distribute the ROM files necessary to play copyrighted Nintendo games.

**LIMITATIONS AND HYPE**

Although I haven’t personally recompiled a game using the tool yet (as it currently requires metadata extracted from games), and I can’t confirm how well Majora’s Mask operates after extensive gameplay, a video by YouTuber Nerrel paints an incredibly promising picture.
