## SUMMER GAMES DONE QUICK 2023: THE ANNUAL CHARITY SPEEDRUNNING MARATHON
Are you ready for the 2023 edition of Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ), the annual weeklong speedrunning marathon for charity? SGDQ is the perfect way to experience hit after hit of incredible speedruns, as runners beat video games faster than ever before or break them in unfathomable ways. It’s a delightful way to learn more about some of your favorite video games and be introduced to new ones.
This year’s show will kick off with a run of Sonic Frontiers, the latest entry in the Sonic franchise. The rest of the schedule is packed with potential hits, including Peggle Deluxe, Returnal, Kaizo Monkey Ball, and a bonus blindfolded run of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
## IN-PERSON COMPONENT AND CHARITY BENEFIT
The entirety of SGDQ 2023 will be streamed on Twitch, but there will also be an in-person component in Minneapolis, MN. This means that the streams should have extra energy thanks to the live audience in attendance.
Moreover, SGDQ 2023 once again benefits Doctors Without Borders, a nonprofit organization that delivers emergency medical aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare in over 70 countries.
## WHEN AND WHERE TO ATTEND
SGDQ 2023 begins on May 28th at 1 PM Eastern Time. The weeklong marathon is scheduled to end early in the morning on June 4th. Don’t miss out on the action!
