L’intelligence artificielle met l’humanité sur les cordes dans la première bande-annonce de The Creator.

**THE CREATOR** Trailer: A Glimpse into a Post-Apocalyptic World Created by AI

In a world where the rise of artificial intelligence is feared due to its potential catastrophic effects on humanity, cinema has depicted societies where the zero-tolerance policy towards these machines is the norm. The upcoming film, **The Creator**, by director Gareth Edwards is no different; set in a post-apocalyptic world after a nuclear cataclysm caused by rogue AI, the movie follows a special forces agent, Joshua (John David Washington), on a mission to eradicate the Creator – the entity responsible for creating the world’s killer machines.

The film’s first trailer shows how surprised everyone is to find themselves caught in the middle of a robo-pocalypse. As Joshua and his team search for the Creator, they discover a mechanical child, Alfie (Madeleine Yuna Voyles), whose unassuming looks belie some sort of ultimate power. The journey to wrest back control of the planet becomes more complicated as Joshua’s relationship with Alfie deepens, and the line between man and machine is blurred.

It’s not surprising that Hollywood continues to explore the concept of a machine takeover. However, **The Creator**’s premise raises questions about whether the industry will continue to rehash themes or bring a new perspective to the conversation.
