Today is the day you’ve been waiting for – Hades II is finally launching its early access version. The game was gradually introduced to a select group of players during its recent technical test period that began last month. Players had the opportunity to explore the game’s opening area, face off against the first boss, and meet some new gods and characters. Now, early access is granting players a glimpse of the full game in progress.

According to the Hades II FAQ page, the early access build will include just as much content as the original game did on day one of its early access release. I’ve had the opportunity to dive into the early access version of Hades II, progressing past the first boss and into the second area. Without giving away any spoilers, I can say that the new area offers a fresh and unique vibe compared to anything I encountered in the original Hades game. Having missed out on the original Hades during its early access phase in 2017, I’m thrilled to witness the evolution of this game.
