Konami unveils a terrifying look at the Silent Hill 2 remake
Konami recently provided a chilling glimpse into the highly anticipated remake of the classic survival horror game Silent Hill 2. The company showcased a new trailer and announced the release date during Sony’s State of Play event. Additionally, an in-depth gameplay demonstration was presented during Konami’s Silent Hill Transmission event.

The trailer features the protagonist, James Sunderland, navigating the eerie town plagued by monstrous nurses while exuding a sense of sadness, guilt, and despair. Despite the extensive preview, the developer, Team Bloober, opted to maintain an air of mystery by refraining from revealing the iconic character, Pyramid Head.

The remake of Silent Hill 2 was initially announced in 2022 as part of a major reveal that included various spinoffs and a new live-action adaptation based on the game.
