ARC BROWSER LIVE CALENDAR FEATURE
The Arc browser is introducing a new Live Calendar feature that will display your upcoming Google Calendar meetings on the sidebar, ensuring you never miss any important calls. This feature includes a countdown timer and a Google Meet join button for quick access without having to open the Calendar tab.
SETTING UP LIVE CALENDAR
To start using the Live Calendar feature, make sure you have updated Arc to the latest version (1.47.1). Simply open Google Calendar in Arc, log in, and drag the tab into the favorites section below the URL. Once Google Calendar is pinned, you will receive a notification confirming that the Live Calendar feature is active. Right-click on the favorite tab to customize Live Calendar settings, such as the timing of meeting links and the option to hide countdowns.
ENHANCED GOOGLE CALENDAR TOOLTIP
Previously, Arc included a Google Calendar tooltip feature that allowed users to preview upcoming meetings by hovering over the tab. However, this feature was not always reliable for some users. The new Live Calendar feature aims to address this issue by functioning as a widget that eliminates the need to hover over the tab.
