Heritage Auctions recently put up for auction a prototype controller for the Nintendo PlayStation. The controller resembles the familiar Super Nintendo controller but is branded with "Sony PlayStation" in dark gray on the front. Despite some minor cosmetic flaws, the controller is in excellent condition, although its functionality remains uncertain due to the extreme rarity of the console it was designed for.
