Dbrand remplace le symbole de la Triforce de Zelda par celui de l’œil omniscient dans « Clone of the Kingdom ».

THE SWITCH SKIN WITH A SECRET MEANING

If you’re a fan of the Legend of Zelda, you’re going to want to check out this limited edition skin by Dbrand. Named “Clone of the Kingdom,” it replaces the Triforce with the Eye of Providence, a symbol often associated with conspiracy theories and the Illuminati. But that’s not all – if you look closer, you can decipher hidden messages in the runes printed on the skin. And if you’re wondering if this skin works on both the original Switch and the new Switch OLED, unfortunately, no. Dbrand offers unique SKUs for each console.

NO SUPPORT FOR SWITCH LITE

If you’re one of the owners of the Switch Lite, we’re sorry to disappoint you. Dbrand has confirmed that the “Clone of the Kingdom” skin is not compatible with the smaller console. But hey, if you have the original Switch or the new OLED version, you can still experience the eerie new design.

TEXTURED FINISH

While the front of the console and Joy-Cons are smooth to the touch, the rear of all the consoles (including the Steam Deck) have a subtle textural difference. This is designed to accurately represent the finish on the rear of the actual ToK Switch.

COMMENT ON THE EYE OF PROVIDENCE

Many people associate the Eye of Providence with conspiracy theories, but it’s also a symbol that appears on the back of US dollars. When asked about the inclusion of the symbol in the “Clone of the Kingdom” design, Dbrand’s CEO simply replied, “It’s literally on money.” So, draw your own conclusions.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE STEAM DECK

If you’re a PC gamer, you might be interested in the fact that Dbrand also offers a concentric hexagonal pattern skin for the Steam Deck. And it’s the same price as the Switch skin – $50.

In summary, if you want to add a unique twist to your Switch or Steam Deck, consider purchasing one of these skins from Dbrand. And don’t forget to decipher the hidden messages in the runes while you play your favorite Zelda game. Sources: BBC Culture.
