Pac-Man est le dernier jeu vidéo classique à être recréé avec amour en Lego.

LEGO has announced the release of an exciting new premium set that’s based on the 1980s arcade game Pac-Man. The set consists of over 2,650 pieces and is designed to recreate a classic Pac-Man arcade cabinet. It includes an illuminating coin-slot, a four-way joystick, and a mechanical chase feature, which sets this version apart from all the others.

The arcade cabinet has a crank on the side which adds an interactive element to the game. By turning the knob, users can move the characters around the maze, just like in the real game. The set also comes with a diorama of a figurine playing a smaller version of the arcade game. On top of the cabinet, there are rotating versions of Pac-Man and the ghosts Blinky and Clyde.

The LEGO Icons Pac-Man set will be available for purchase starting June 4th at a cost of $269.99 (€269.99 / £229.99). VIP members will get exclusive early access to the set from June 1st.

Lego’s Fans and collectors can be excited for the new set, and the price of $269.99 is the same as LEGO’s other recent video game commemoration of the Nintendo Entertainment System after last year’s price rise. Additionally, the Pac-Man LEGO set is meant for people aged 18 and over.

This year marks the 43rd anniversary of the iconic arcade game, which Bandai Namco (then known as Namco) first tested with members of the public in 1980. It is one of the most popular arcade games of all time, with LEGO’s press release noting that it was installed in 293,822 arcade units in the seven years after its original release.

It’s interesting to note that Pac-Man’s yellow color was inspired by the “iconic yellow of the Lego brick,” according to the game’s creator, Toru Iwatani.

LEGO enthusiasts and arcade game fans alike can look forward to adding this premium Pac-Man set to their collection. With its attention to detail and innovative design features, it offers a fun and interactive experience for people of all ages. So don’t miss out on the chance to own a piece of gaming history in the form of this amazing LEGO release!
