After the successful launch of the Steam Deck OLED, Valve’s handheld gaming device, ASUS is following suit with the introduction of the ROG Ally X, a new iteration of their popular gaming PC. This highly anticipated device, packed with upgrades and enhancements, is now available for preorder at a price of $799.

On July 22nd, the ROG Ally X will hit the market with a slew of improvements that set it apart from its predecessor. With double the battery life, storage capacity, and USB-C ports with increased bandwidth, this device promises a 15% boost in performance thanks to faster memory and enhanced ergonomics.

PERFORMANCE AND DESIGN ENHANCEMENTS
The ROG Ally X boasts improved components that contribute to its overall performance. ASUS has addressed previous concerns regarding connectivity by introducing a full-length M.2 2280 PCIe 4 SSD slot and replacing the proprietary eGPU port with a Thunderbolt 4-compatible USB-C port. EASTER EGG AND WARRANTY UPDATE
As a final touch, ASUS has included a hidden surprise in the design of the ROG Ally X, reminiscent of the intricate details found in the PS5 controller. Furthermore, ASUS has announced that all ROG Ally devices in North America now come with a two-year warranty, ensuring peace of mind for consumers.
