# SAMSUNG PREPARES A NEW GALAXY WATCH 6 SERIES

In a few weeks, Samsung will unveil its upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 series, which is rumored to feature a fan-favorite feature that was previously dropped. Leaked images suggest that Samsung may have resurrected the physical rotating bezel on the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which was tragically missing from the Galaxy Watch 5 series. The rotating bezel is advantageous for active users and is just more pleasant to use.

# DESIGN AND SPECS OF THE GALAXY WATCH 6 SERIES

If the renders are legit, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is visually identical to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The leaked images depict the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic in an all-black design, featuring a brushed metal casing and a silicone wristband with a magnetic clasp. The circular display is a Super AMOLED screen measuring in at 1.47-inches, and previous reports indicate this will likely have a 470 x 470 resolution.

The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will be equipped with an Exynos W980 chipset, which should be around 10 percent faster than the Exynos W920 chipset used in the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series. The Galaxy Watch 6 series is expected to provide sleep tracking, body composition analysis, a heart rate sensor, temperature sensor, GPS, NFC, and a barometer. The device is also rumored to feature a larger 425mAh battery.

# SAMSUNG TO UNVEIL GALAXY WATCH 6 SERIES AT GALAXY UNPACKED

There’s no official release date for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 yet, but the company is anticipated to unveil it at its Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored for July 26th, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9.
