L’appareil photo X-S20 de Fujifilm dispose d’un nouveau processeur et voit son prix demandé augmenter de 300 $.

FUJIFILM UNVEILS NEW X-S20 CAMERA

Fujifilm has recently introduced its newest camera in the X line, the X-S20, designed for hybrid photo and video creators. Alongside the camera, Fujifilm has launched a new X App and an XF 8mm f/3.5R WR super-wide lens. The camera is expected to be launched on June 29th.

Aimed at those looking for quality video over high-resolution stills, the X-S20 boasts an X-H2/H2S processor combination and the same sensor as the last-gen X-S10. Despite sporting the same 26-megapixel resolution as its predecessor, the camera offers a 6.2K video output and up to 4K/60p recording with 4:2:2 10-bit F-Log2 profile. However, users may find the small electronic viewfinder disappointing.

For creators who require top-quality video, the X-S20 offers a Vlog mode that comes with easy-to-use, touch-friendly controls and impressive features like a one-touch background defocus mode that sets the lens aperture automatically.

The X-S20 is designed like a DSLR, making it perfect for video content creators as the bigger grip and buttons provide better ergonomics. The camera also features a seven-stop in-body image stabilization system, a new autofocus system that lets users focus on items held up to the camera, and twice the battery life of the previous model.

Launching alongside the X-S20 is the XF 8mm f/3.5R WR super-wide lens, which is the widest prime lens for the X system. It is weather-resistant, making it ideal for astrophotography.

Overall, the X-S20 is a catch-all camera that balances higher-end offerings with video chops and doesn’t overcommit itself to #vloglife. While it may suffer from an identity crisis, the camera is a nice jack-of-all-trades designed to cater to a broad audience.
