# ASUS unveils new gaming laptops and eGPU
ASUS has recently released new gaming laptops and an external graphics processing unit (eGPU) for high-performance gaming.
## The new ROG G14 laptops
The highly anticipated new ROG G14 gaming laptops are now available for purchase at Best Buy or through ASUS’ website. The laptops are marketed to start at $1429.99, but the model for that price point is not currently available on the ASUS website.
Instead, the entry-level ROG G14 features the Nvidia RTX 4050, a Ryzen 7 7735HS, 16GB of DDR5 memory, and 512GB of storage. At $1,599.99, the next model up includes an RTX 4060 and a Ryzen 9 7940HS, and at $1,849.99, gamers can opt for an RTX 4070.
## The new ROG Flow X13 laptop
ASUS has also launched the new ROG Flow X13 laptop, which boasts a convertible 13-inch screen and is powered by AMD. The laptop supports Advanced Optimus and comes with one of the first 13-inch iterations of ASUS’ Nebula screen. Previously, the QHD panel maxed out at 120Hz, but the new version now goes up to 165Hz.
The ROG Flow X13 also features a larger battery to address battery life concerns, a common issue with the 2021 model. Exact pricing and availability for the Flow X13 have not been announced by ASUS, but the laptop will include the Ryzen 9 7940HS, an RTX 4070, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.
## The XG Mobile eGPU
Finally, ASUS has released the XG Mobile eGPU, which can plug into the Flow X13 for even higher performance. The eGPU includes an RTX 4090 GPU with a maximum TPG of 150W, providing heavy-duty frame rates on the 13-inch laptop. However, this high-performance accessory comes at a cost of $1,999.99.
