La saison 11 de Futurama sera diffusée en avant-première le 24 juillet.

# FUTURAMA RETURNS ON HULU FOR SEASON 11

Greetings to all beloved fans of the animated series, Futurama! Exciting news has finally arrived, as Hulu announced that Futurama will be returning for its 11th season on July 24th, 2023. We’ll be able to catch up with Bender, Fry, Leela, and the rest of the Planet Express crew.

# ONLY 10 EPISODES IN SEASON 11

Unfortunately, we won’t be getting the original 20 episodes that were promised when the season was announced in February last year. Hulu has yet to disclose the reason why, but it’s speculated that the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike could be a factor. We’ve reached out to Hulu for clarification and will update once we receive an answer.

# THE MUCH-AWAITED TEASER

Regardless, here’s a teaser for you all to relish. The new Futurama series will be available for streaming every Monday over its 10-episode run. Hulu mentions that it’ll hit series tropes like Fry and Leela’s romance, Nibbler’s litter box, and the “secret history of Robot Santa,” in addition to the usual collection of tales inspired by current events — so there’ll be a pandemic, storylines about vaccines, cryptocurrency, and more.

# CONTRACT DISPUTES

We learned last year that negotiations to bring back the whole cast hit a rough patch when John DiMaggio, who plays Bender, wasn’t offered enough money and opted out, telling Hulu to bite his proverbial shiny metal ass. This move angered the show’s fans and led to a viral tweet about his actions. However, a few weeks later, the two parties made amends as DiMaggio received a pay bump, although sources like Deadline suggest that the increase was “minimal at best.”

# LAST WORDS

To conclude, this news has thrilled Futurama fans all over the world, and we’re excited to see what the new season has in store for us. Stay tuned for more updates. Farewell, folks!
