# MOTOROLA’S MOTO G STYLUS 5G: A REFRESHED AND IMPROVED DESIGN
The new Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G has returned with some exciting specifications upgrades and a striking new look. This year’s model now includes wireless charging and an enhanced screen, while still retaining classic features like a headphone jack and microSD card slot. All of this is available for a reasonable price of $399.
## A BIGGER AND BETTER SCREEN
The G Stylus 5G remains a Big Phone with its 6.7-inch screen, offering a 1080p panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate, an improvement from last year’s 6.6-inch LCD display. Additionally, it boasts a generous 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The new Stylus 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the same as its predecessor, but with an increased RAM of 8GB compared to 6GB.
## ENHANCED STYLUS FUNCTIONALITY
The built-in stylus of the Moto G Stylus 5G has undergone improvements as well. Motorola’s press release highlights a “larger contact area” and software updates to enhance the user interface and reduce latency when using the stylus. The device’s main rear camera remains a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, while the 13-megapixel ultrawide and 32-megapixel selfie cameras have been upgraded. The selfie camera now utilizes pixel binning for improved sensitivity in low-light conditions, resulting in better photos in dim settings.
## A FRESH DESIGN
In a departure from last year’s design, the Stylus 5G embraces Motorola’s new approach to making phones fun again. The back panel features a soft-touch vegan leather finish, available in two stylish color options: caramel latte and scarlet wave. Both colors exude a modern and trendy vibe.
## CONCERNS ABOUT BLOATWARE
Despite the promising features, there have been concerns about the bloatware present in Motorola’s budget and midrange phones, as seen with last year’s Moto G Stylus 5G. It remains to be seen if this issue has been addressed in the 2024 model. Nevertheless, the Moto G 5G Stylus is set to hit the shelves on May 30th, priced at $399 unlocked.
