# IMPROVEMENTS TO ELGATO’S DISCORD PLUG-IN FOR STREAM DECK AND NEW CUSTOM HARDWARE
Elgato, a popular brand known for its streaming technology, has recently announced significant improvements to its Discord plug-in for Stream Deck. This plug-in now integrates with Discord’s new soundboard and includes notification support for messages, improved volume control, and many more features.
## SOUNDBOARD INTEGRATION FOR STREAM DECK
With the new soundboard integration Feature, users can display an actual soundboard on their Stream Deck, much like how Voicemod works. Users can assign sounds to buttons and even search for sounds they’ve set up. However, it is worth noting that users will need a Discord Nitro subscription to use the soundboard feature.
## AUDIO INPUTS AND NOTIFICATION SUPPORT
Elgato has also added a feature that makes it easy to switch between headphones and speakers. Users can now use a button on a Stream Deck device to select the audio inputs or outputs on their PC.
Moreover, Elgato has added a notifications action that shows how many messages are waiting for the user on a Stream Deck button, making it easier to stay on top of their messages.
## USER VOLUME CONTROL ACTIONS
Elgato features user volume control actions, which allows users to change audio on the go quickly. Users can tap a button to change audio or even turn the dial on a Stream Deck Plus device.
Additionally, there is a new action to show server stats on a Stream Deck button, including new message count, recently active users, or online users. Users can toggle between push-to-talk or voice activity modes using a single Stream Deck button.
## DISCORD-BRANDED STREAM DECK AND WUMPUS MICROPHONE
Elgato has released exclusive software with Discord branding, such as a Discord-branded Stream Deck and a Wave:3 microphone. Both the Wumpus Microphone and Wumpus Stream Deck are priced at $150 and available in limited edition runs.
